How it works
Draw, feed, release — how an automatic slingshot works
Nothing exotic: an automatic slingshot is a hand-powered frame with a feed system. Understanding the four stages makes the difference between a jam and a clean shot.
Load the magazine
Steel balls of the size stated in your manual sit in the magazine, stacked and ready to feed.
Draw the bands
Drawing the pouch tensions the elastic bands. All of the energy comes from your draw — there is no propellant.
The next ball feeds
As the pouch returns, the feed mechanism seats the next ball in the same position as the last.
Release and repeat
Aim at a backed target, release cleanly, and the sequence starts again without hand-loading.

What is a slingshot rifle?
A slingshot rifle is a shouldered frame with a stock, a longer sight line and usually a rail for a sight or laser. It trades pocketability for a steadier hold. A folding slingshot rifle collapses for storage and transport.
Which ammunition should I use?

How often do bands need replacing?
Band life depends on use, draw length, temperature and storage, so we will not quote a shot count. Inspect before every session and replace bands showing nicks, thinning or stiffness.
Can I mount a sight or laser?
Models with a Picatinny rail accept standard rail accessories. The product page states whether a rail is fitted and what, if anything, is included.
