About Slingvora

Slingvora exists because the slingshot deserved better engineering than it was getting.

Walk into most of this market and you find two extremes. On one end, moulded plastic toys with a rubber band stapled to them. On the other, hand-carved artisan frames that are beautiful and completely inconsistent. Almost nothing in between treats the slingshot as what it actually is — a mechanism, with tolerances, that either repeats or does not.

What we build

We build automatic slingshots from solid billets of 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminium, on CNC machines, to tolerances that hold. A gravity-fed magazine seats the next 9mm steel ball into a magnetic pouch the instant the last one leaves, so you never break your stance to reload. A mechanical release aid takes finger torque out of the draw. An integrated centre channel gives you a sight line without bolting anything on.

None of that is novelty. Every one of those decisions exists to make shot number thirty land where shot number one landed.

Why it matters that the frame does not flex

Most accuracy complaints in this hobby get blamed on the bands. Usually it is the frame. A chassis that deflects under draw moves your point of impact between shots, and there is no technique that compensates for a platform that will not hold still. Machined aluminium is heavier than plastic and costs considerably more to produce. It also does not care how hard you pull.

Who we build for

Adults who want a mechanism they can understand, take apart, upgrade and maintain. Target shooters chasing tighter groups. Mechanical hobbyists who read the spec sheet before the marketing copy. People who own a torque wrench and know why.

Where we are going

The auto-loading platform is the foundation. We are extending the same machined-aluminium approach into shoulder-braced slingshot rifles, folding frames that lock up with zero play, and compact crossbow platforms. Same philosophy each time: the mechanism has to be honest before the marketing gets to say anything.

Safety, stated plainly

Everything we sell is a precision recreational instrument for adults, intended for supervised target practice against a proper backstop. It is not a toy and it is not a defensive tool. Eye protection every session, no exceptions. Know and follow the laws that apply where you live — they vary considerably by country and by state.
